Hunt Seat

Alumni Flat

Riders to be judged at the walk and trot both ways of the ring. Leads and diagonals will count. USEF Equitation may be asked but are not required.


Alumni Fences

To be shown over six or more fences not to exceed 2' 9” in height and including at least one change of direction. Fence width not to exceed height. Fences must have wings at least 12' higher than the highest rail. No testing required.


Western

Horsemanship

Ranch

To be shown at a walk, trot and canter both ways of the ring. Patterns may be used.

To be shown individually in a pre-assigned ranch pattern. Suitable patterns include IHSA, IEA and YEDA.

Reining

To be shown individually in a pre-assigned reining pattern. Suitable patterns include IHSA, IEA and YEDA.


Post Season

Zone Finals

All AEE members with 28 points or more across their top 10 shows, out of a maximum of 15 shows will qualify for their declared AEE Zone final.

*If more than 12 riders in a Zone qualify for Zone finals, the riders will be split into two pre-Zone shows. The top 4 riders will advance to the Zone final.

*If less than 3 riders qualify for the Zone finals, they may choose to combine with an adjoining zone. The top 3 riders from a super Zone show will qualify for AEE Nationals.

* If less than 3 riders qualify for the Zone finals and the Zone does not wish to combine with another Zone, the riders will need to obtain a minimum score in order to advance to the National Competition.

AEE Nationals

The top two riders from each Zone competition will qualify for AEE Nationals. If less than 3 riders compete in their respective Zone competition, riders will need to obtain a minimum score for their ride. Specifications for each class will be published before the start of the first Zone final each season.
